Congratulations to the Commercial Men’s senior quad (Colm Dowling, Fionnan Groome, Michael Mahar & Neil Gahan) who won their 4X- event at today’s 6000m Erne Head in Enniskillen.
Moreover, Commercial crossed the line a whopping 11 seconds ahead of Rowing Ireland’s selected fastest 4X- and also a beat a composite crew from Skibbereen / Castleconn / UCCRC / Portadown.
This famous victory represents a continuation of form – the senior 4X recently won their event at St. Michaels and indeed they’re an annual fixture on the podium at the National Championships.
The Women’s Junior 16 squad, returning to form after recent exams, 
were represented in a coxed eight, but crossed the line just 10 seconds behind Portora
