IARU
Level 1 Coaching Courses
in Commercial (€150 to IARU).
At
the level 1 coaching course, coaches will learn how to plan,
organize and deliver a training session on land and water. The
course covers practical skills such as how to teach good technique,
how to rig a boat, designing a training programme and delivering a
good training session. Other important areas covered include
communication, goal setting, mental and tactical preparation,
nutrition and hydration. Coaches will get plenty of opportunity to
practice and learn from hands on activities.
The
Dublin course will take place at
Commercial Rowing Club on the following dates:

13th Sept 6pm to 9pm (on the night of the IARU AGM)
Sun
14th Sept, 9am to 5pm.
Sat 27th Sept, 6pm to 9pm.

28th Sept, 9am to 5pm.
